The EuroCloud Swiss interest group is led by an advisory board and represents a distinct ICT sector supported by its member companies. The group addresses sector-specific topics.
Mission of the EuroCloud Swiss interest group
The EuroCloud Swiss interest group promotes cloud computing in theory and practice, and the use of related technologies, concepts and methods in Switzerland.
It represents the interests of Switzerland’s cloud computing community and promotes exchanges with individuals and national and international organisations.
It offers members a comprehensive Swiss platform for exchanging knowledge and experience nationally and internationally. It also helps shape global and European developments in law, data protection, standards and guidelines and adapts them to Swiss needs where necessary.
In cloud computing, it works closely with providers, manufacturers, users, consultants, higher education institutions and universities, universities of applied sciences, other associations and the Swiss Confederation. It holds continuing education and information events on cloud computing and promotes acceptance, transparency, standards, quality, certification and awards for cloud computing in the Swiss market.
Integrated into Swico as an interest group since 1 January 2015.
The group is supported by an advisory board, which sets its strategic direction and coordinates the relevant activities.
